The Vega Nutritionals Urgent-D 2000iu Vitamin D3 is a high strength supplement that is a blackcurrant flavoured chewable tablet, designed for those requiring a higher dose of Vitamin D. Vitamin D helps regulate the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body, as both are needed for healthy bones, teeth and muscles.
It is recommended that everyone over the age of 1 should consume 10mg of vitamin D daily and babies from birth to 1 year should consume 8.5-10mg of Vitamin D per day.
